NIKKI WORRALL

Nikki trained at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts. Prior to which she won the All Star Tap Award and the All England Song and Dance Award adjudicated by Arlene Phillips.

She went on to work professionally for Arlene when she took over the lead role of Sandy in the West End production of GREASE, playing opposite Shane Ritchie, Craig McClachlan and Ian Kelsey on separate occasions.

Nikki has had extensive experience in musical theatre including CHICAGO with Denise Van Outen, Claire Sweeney, Marti Pellow and Alison Moyet. She also appeared in the National Theatre’s production of ANYTHING GOES with John Barrowman and Shakespeare’s LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST with Joseph Fiennes and Olivia Williams. Both productions were directed by Trevor Nunn.

Nikki has also appeared in MACK and MABEL, A CHORUS LINE and played the Shimmy Girl in SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ. She was offered the lead role of Pearl in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s STARLIGHT EXPRESS but during rehearsals, broke her leg, which meant she couldn’t perform for six months. However, she did get back on stage again, stepping into the lycra pants of Sandy once more in the West End, where she met her husband Andrew.

Her television appearances include three Royal Variety Performances, This Morning with Richard and Judy and played the role of Mrs Fitch in The Baddiel Syndrome. She can also be heard on the original cast recordings of Grease, Mack and Mabel and Anything Goes.

Since having her three boys, Nikki has turned her attention to other areas of the industry. She now focuses on leading workshops across the country, teaching children of all ages as well as professional performers, specialising in dance, drama and singing workshops. She also has extensive choreographic/directing experience and has been involved for the past five years in choreographing the Pantomime at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon which has had rave reviews as one of the top five Panto’s in the country to go and see by The Independent newspaper.

 

ANDREW PLAYFOOT

Most recently, Andrew has been credited as 'THE WHISTLER' on the movie PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH. He can also be heard as a featured 'Ape' on THE KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and on the movie soundtrack LAST CHRISTMAS and the 2021 movie CINDERELLA starring Camila Cabello.

Andrew was one of the featured singers on the 'KEVIN AND KAREN' live dance show which toured the country.He also performed with ADELE at Wembley Stadium.

Andrew appeared on Britain's Got Talent with his singing group BAND OF VOICES and they got through to the live semi-finals!

Andrew began singing in the church choir when he was eight years old and was chosen to sing at Westminster Abbey where he was a Chorister for three years. At the same time, he started learning the Violin, Piano and Guitar.

Andrew’s professional career began in the mid-’90s when he was offered a part in FIVE GUY’S NAMED MOE for Cameron Mackintosh. He went on to play the role of Kenickie in GREASE at the Cambridge Theatre. Other West End shows include SMOKEY JOE’S CAFÉ, BOMBAY DREAMS, NOTRE DAME DE PARIS, PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED and JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA and he played the role of Nathan Detroit in GUYS and DOLLS where he took over from Patrick Swayze. He played The Mayor in the concert production of CHESS at The Royal Albert Hall alongside Josh Groban and Idina Menzel, which was recorded for television.

He can be heard on the original cast recording of Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of CINDERELLA, as a soloist singing Ooh La La on the soundtrack of BOMBAY DREAMS and LOVE NEVER DIES and as a backing vocalist on recordings for ROBBIE WILLIAMS, WILL YOUNG, KYLIE, MEL C, CRAIG DAVID, CLARE TEAL, LEE MEAD and RYAN DAN amongst others.

Andrew has sung solo with the LSO, BSO, the John Wilson Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra amongst others and regularly sings with the RONNIE SCOTT’S BIG BAND. He has been a regular backing singer on the X-FACTOR, BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT and also a regular singer on FRIDAY NIGHT IS MUSIC NIGHT.

Film soundtracks include KINDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, BEETLEJUICE 2, SHREK 2, BEE MOVIE, TRANSFORMERS, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, MONSTERS VS ALIENS, NINE, TROY, THE CONSTANT GARDNER, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, ANGELS AND DEMONS, THOR, KUNG FU PANDA and NANNY MCPHEE, THE 2019 VERSIONS OF DUMBO and The live action ALADDIN.

Television work includes EASTENDERS, CASUALTY, TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT, TOP OF THE POPS, POP IDOL, X FACTOR, PARKINSON and two ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCES.

Emma Annetts

Emma has a BA Honours in Performing Arts and had an extensive international dance career, performing with renowned artists such as Celine Dion and Elton John.  She was invited to train with Cirque du Soleil in Montreal and later went on to perform in Las Vegas for 4 years as an original cast member of ‘A New Day’, directed by Franco Dragone and choreographed by Emmy award winning choreographer Mia Michaels.

Emma is now a freelance choreographer working in theatre, TV and film.  She is regularly commissioned to create her own contemporary dance work and adaptations.

Emma has a huge passion for teaching and inspiring young performers and has 20 years experience working with a range of age groups.  She regularly teaches and choreographs at top institutions such as Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.

Kristine has a BA Honours in dance from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, and works as a professional dancer and choreographer in London. She has been a company member of and toured with Boy Blue Entertainment, Incandescence and Panta Rei Dance Theatre, and recent stage credits include ‘Project R.E.B.E.L.’, 'Boomtown', ‘Tilt' and ‘Karnival’. 

 

In addition to her stage credits, Kristine’s screen credits include; ‘Big God’ for Florence + The Machine, directed by Autumn De Wilde and choreographed by Akram Khan, and most recently the Netflix production 'Lockwood & Co.', directed by Joe Cornish and choreographed by Jennifer White. 

 

Kristine is an aspiring choreographer, primarily focused on stage work. She is regularly commissioned to create pieces for institutions such as the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, LSE and Trøndertun Folkehøyskole. Through her processes with the students there, she has discovered a love for helping artists in training discover their potential and further their own abilities.
